LLELA Has Buffalo Roaming Now
Lewisville Lake Environmental Learning Area A-to-Z
NOTE: This Video is days old, but warming sunny days should still bring the buffalo up near the Lewisville Dam to roam.
Any way we went, in this two part series on Lewisville Lake Environmental Learning Area, we found buffalo roaming. It is something I have seen before, and I have caught a couple there in past years. But, a few weeks ago? the numbers of buffalo were staggering. Black shapes by the dozens, gathered tight, heads up, as if looking for an answer, and they were everywhere. I will go ahead and put a number on it, and say it was in the hundreds.
And I hooked a few, foul hooked a few, and lost a few, but you’ll have to get through Episode One, and all the information you find there first! This is another one of those videos that fell through the cracks of holiday-ish times, being busy, and distracted with new YouTube paradigms. This video fell squarely into that crack because of its length, and my hesitation running an hour-long video about buffalo hunting.
So enjoy Part One, and feel free to binge a little while you wait for your alma mater to take the field this cold North Texas weekend! here is your link to Part TWO LLELA Buffalo Roaming.
